Looking Through the Eyes of a Child

On a crisp April afternoon, I decided to take my dog Homer for a walk in our neighborhood park across the street. The park has a large lake, framed with hundred year old trees and a walking path that is .42 miles long. From my front door, one lap around the lake, and back to my front door I figure it’s about a 1/2 mile.

Moving On Up

If you read my bio, I mentioned “at some point, I decided that I didn’t need the weight anymore.” Below recounts the moment when it happened.

In January 2018, I was a 2-week participant in Costa Rica for Instantaneous Transformation 2018, hosted by Ariel and Shya Kane. It was Saturday afternoon, after week 1 and we, those who were staying for week 2, were getting ready for the participants from week 2 to join us at the resort we were staying. Temptation Everywhere (that doesn’t have to be tempting!)

One Saturday morning, I was out running errands when I looked down at the gas gauge and realized I was close to empty and needed gas. So I pulled over to the local gasoline convenience store (QuikTrip) and began pumping gasoline. Usually, I would run into the store and buy a soda or some snacks to eat, but this time, I was just content with putting gas in my car. As I was pumping gas I began reminiscing about the previous weekend when I had attended a communications and listening seminar in New York City and was thinking about the friends I had stayed with.
